Why?
Today, the landscape for small businesses is brutal. They face relentless competition from tech giants, big box retailers, and consolidation brought on by private equity. This stifles free market competition and puts immense pressure on those with fewer than 100 employees.
The economic consequences are dire: fewer people owning more, and many, including the middle class, owning less and less.
