Understanding and adhering to these standards is essential in maintaining a consistent brand presence and supporting the brand's future ambitions.

The LiveSwitch logo is the main identifier of the brand. This hand-lettered logotype represents the LiveSwitch story as a stand-alone element: real-time, human communication.

When to Use the LiveSwitch Logo
The LiveSwitch "signature" is our primary corporate logo, and strongest LiveSwitch asset representing the company globally. There are two variations which should be prioritized based on use case: the primary LiveSwitch Blue logo for light backgrounds, or the primary white logo for darker backgrounds; the white logo should be used with the blue staging platform with product-specific layouts.

Clear Space & Minimum Size
Think of clear space as an invisible space around the logo artwork that protects its legibility and integrity. No visual elements should be placed inside of it. The margin should be half of the height of the LiveSwitch logo. This rule applies to any logo variation.
The minimum size protects the clear legibility of our logotype. The LiveSwitch logo in any variation can never be displayed under 16 pixels for digital (at 72dpi):
Restricted Black
This is a restricted asset reserved for approved use cases, or when color cannot be used, as in black-and-white printing, etching, stenciling or due to parnership or sponsorship requirements.

Restricted Initial
The LiveSwitch Initial is a restricted asset for use in small-space applications, such as social media icons, platform avatars, favicons, and internal marketing.

What Not To Do
Don’t alter the LiveSwitch logo in any way. Below are some examples of what not to do with the LiveSwitch logo in order to protect its integrity.
Don’t separate the logomark from the type treatment of the mark.
Don’t place the primary LiveSwitch Blue logo on a background pattern, busy image, or illustration.
Don’t add a product name with the logo.
Don’t put the LiveSwitch logo in a containing shape other than the approved primary logo.
Don’t place the logo on blue backgrounds, unless it is the primary white logo over the LiveSwitch Blue (#0070FF) staging platform.
Don't use outdated LiveSwitch logos. Please discard these assets from your files.
Don’t position the LiveSwitch logo on an angle.
Don't use the LiveSwitch logo to coin a word or phrase, or as a word in a sentence.
Don’t place the logo on a solid background color that isn’t approved.

Consistent use of LiveSwitch "Brandeis" Blue will create a strong visual connection for customers across all LiveSwitch channels.
In all cases, LiveSwitch Blue (#0070FF) is our primary brand color and a distinctive brand asset that we are committed to using across all brand touchpoints.

The term “Marks” includes anything we use to identify our goods or services, including our names, logos, icons, and design elements. By using LiveSwitch's Marks, you agree that we own them and that any goodwill generated by your use benefits us. Your permission to use our Marks is limited in the following ways:
- You can only use our Marks as allowed by these brand guidelines.
- The permission we grant is non-exclusive (we can give it to others) and non-transferrable (you cannot give it to others).
- You should not feature our Marks more prominently than your own company’s name or marks.
- We may update the guide, and you must follow changes within a reasonable time.
- We can review your use of our Marks and require changes if needed.
- We may terminate your permission to use our Marks at any time, and you must stop using them promptly.
